This past weekend has been a whirlwind of activities and wonderful family time, but before we left my mom and I went out for happy hour drinks at one of my favorite places, Jax Fish House, in order to spend some relaxed time between just the two of us.   I wish we lived close enough we could make happy hour drinks together a weekly ritual, but since we can’t I cherish those times that we do.  Today I am flying home to Colorado and she will be flying back to Washington so I am feeling a bit blue about saying good-bye.  Thank you for a wonderful week mom, I love you.
